Educational Opportunities
We are a vocational school in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany’s northernmost state. Our school offers many educational opportunities for young people of our region in which they can broaden their knowledge and skills. The courses cover theoretical and practical contents at four different locations in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district. Our headquarter is in Rendsburg (Herrenstraße). Local branches are in Osterrönfeld and Hademarschen, (villages in the district). Overall we offer courses in the following vocational fields:
- Mechanics
- Electronics
- Construction
- Wood and Timber Technology
- Painting
- Personal Hygiene
- Food and Domestic economy
- Agriculture
At present approximately 3200 students take courses at our school. The courses are offered by 160 teachers.
The learning opportunities comprise a large variety of different kinds of schooling which are offered as full-time or part-time courses. At the Berufsbildungszentrum am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal students can achieve vocational certificates as well as certificates in general education from Secondary General School up to a general qualification for university entrance.
